Sir.- We the undersigned inhabitants
of Auckland and its neighbourhood, request that you will
call a public meeting to be holden at the Royal Hotel on
Monday the 5th instant for the purpose of affording
the people of Auckland an opportunity of expressing their
respect towards Mrs Hobson on the occasion of her departure
from the Colony.
