ARRIVAL OF HMS DIANA

Personnell on board the Diana were 500, 400 who would remain on the station to commission the Ringarooma,the Torch and the Boomerang. 40 more were boys or stokers for disposal on the station, and there were a few officers for other ships.

Hence the crew worked their way out and were replaced with expired men to navigate the cruiser home.
